Bishkek, 20 August — The preparatory conference for the re-establishment of Utopia University was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, marking the official commencement of preparatory work.

The conference resolved: to constitute the Preparatory Office of Utopia University (Preparatory), charged with all preparatory affairs; to launch the official website; to begin drafting the University Charter, regulations and the academic calendar; and to collect historical materials and artefacts of Utopia University from the public.

The re-established Utopia University will operate trilingually in Chinese, English and Esperanto, teach primarily online as an air-based campus, and be based in Bishkek.
